Bait Sharq

Bait Sharq is a restoration project that presents a challenge of rehabilitating a historical residence dating back to the 1950s, while repurposing it to meet the client's contemporary needs. The project entails the preservation of key features in the house like the overarching shell, facade details, window frames, railing, wallpaper, terrazzo details and special floorings. Added features include vaulted ceilings in exhibition areas, arched openings to split different areas, and the introduction of local brick wherever a new program is highlighted.
